ABOUT ME

My name is Dana. The work that is closest to my heart is supporting Indigenous knowledge keepers in maintaining traditional land management systems.

I am also an artist. I mostly paint, as well as some illustration work for local organizations that support underserved communities. I also do a lot of mixed media, papier-mâché, and experimenting with things like making my own paint/paper from plants.

I try and use only second hand materials, especially things I find on the side of the road. Shout out the great material continuum, and all those who navigate it deftly, beyond treacherous capital centric economomies. I love you bone-deep.
